Hey guys - just to let you know I'm down to 159 pounds and I'm still going strong! That means:
11 Stone 3 Pounds
which equals 159 Pounds
Total Loss: 14.8 Pounds
I know it's been an age since I last wrote, but to be fair I have moved house!
Good news on the diet front - I have lost a fantabulous 11 pounds, putting me down to 11 stone 9 (164 pounds).
I don't look hugely different, but I feel slimmer around my ribs. I've still got a bit to go, but here's hoping that in the next few weeks I can drop down to 11 stone and further.
I've had a rough week this week- I believe it''s called a weight loss plateu, where nothing happens to your weight. I've not eaten fabulously, but I've stuck to the diet (my one exception being a pancake on pancake day).
Whenever I want sugar or fat, I just tell myself "What's in it for me?'" and it reminds me that by resisiting I have so much to gain - or, more accurately, to loose.
What's something you bought, knowing it was a total waste of money?
Over Christmas I bought a £18 bottle of showergel simply because it was a cool bottle. I've also wasted countless money on iTunes I didn't really like but wanted to hear.
Have you ever secretly unwrapped a gift before the big day?
Submitted by Red Pen.
I love surprises, and I'm a terrible liar, so normally opening my gifts if I already know what they are means that a) I'll be a little bored upon recieving them, and b) I'll be absolutely rubbish at acting surprised.
The only time I 've ever done it was when I was about nine and wanted to be Scary Spice. My parents had hidden a bag with a Spice Girls Cadbury Chocolate set in it and I literally tripped over it while looking for something. I saw the word 'Spice' and couldn't stop myself having a closer look. And yes, opening it sucked.
What books did you love as a child?
Submitted by hearts.
I always had a book in my hand as a child. I loved the Beatrix Potter stories, Mr. Men, Bobby Brewster, Enid Blyton, and so on. My favourite actual book was probably 'The House the Sailed Away', which is all about a family stuck inside a house as it floats away to sea during a flood and they end up menaced by Pirates and Cannibils. Brilliant book! I also remember a book called '5 Minute Bedtime Stories' too.
There's probably lots more I'm forgetting.
Of course, at the age of eleven (a shocking eight years ago!) I found Harry Potter and have never looked back.
Books you read when your young change you in a way that not adult reading ever does, it becomes part of who you are, so any parents out there, remember to read your kids as many books as they want.
What are your superstitions?
Submitted by lazywong.
I don't reallyh ave many, but I do like to touch wood when I say something I hope won't happen. Also I bury broken mirrors to prevent bad luck.
I've been very naughty and not posting, but eating wise I have been good. And exercise wise too actually. I'm also thinking of taking up jogging.
However, in more important news, last night was weigh day (like pay day, only it involves less money and standing on the scales)
And...*drum roll please*...my new weight is:
12 Stone 1.7 Pounds
which equals 169.7 Pounds
Total Loss: 3.9 Pounds
Go me!
What is your favorite board game?

Chess. My nan taught me to play when I was little.
What song gives you the most holiday cheer?

Ooh, hard to choose. I think it comes down to your own personal experiences and associations. My top five would be:
Baby It's Cold Outside (Tom Jones/Cerys Matthews), Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (Bing Crosby), We Three Kings (General Carols), Winter Wonderland Medly (Dolly Parton), and Santa Baby (Eartha Kitt).
Today has been okay, actually. Especially considering that I've been at home, alone, which is when I get the serious munchies.
I watched three and a half films (The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, Persuasion, and half of Drop Dead Gorgeous) and I didn't snack through any of it. Also got some editing of a fanfic done. I cooked a nice meal for myself as well (baked cod with boiled potatoes).
Not looking forward to work tomorrow. Boring...
Also my dad got me so mad today that I was *this* close to eating something bad. He's been moody all day and when I said I "really fancied something sweet" (which really meant "I want chocolate but I can't have any so don't tempt me") he brought out a chocolate and almond Marks and Spencer 400 calorie pudding and put it in front of me. I was so angry and so longing for soemthing sweet that I went to my chocolate drawer (really my bra drawer with a bag of goodies in it) which is where several bars are kept (bought before the diet) to test myself, and took out a pack of Peanut Butter Cups. I resisted and dutifully paid money into my Piggy Bank in punishment.
Go me!
Todays efforts:
Exercise: Does dancing around my bedroom count? And um, confession, I didn't do those stomach crunches yesteday, forgot...*hang on*...just done thirty now.

Total Cals: 902
Comments: Wow! Surprised at the calorie count and done some exercise too! I will put some money in the piggy bank to make up for forgetting to exercise yesterday.
Well, I got a shock yesterday - I realised how fat I am.-- hahaha... I laughed a lot at this... read more
